Marvin the Mallard
His webbed feet started itching when he was just a baby mallard. Unable to quench his curiosity, Marvin now travels the world with Adventurer Katie, making new friends and seeing new sights. He sends letters to Dale and Peggy as a way to share his adventures. Marvin most enjoys flipping his feet through fresh snow, trying new plants where ever he goes, and the feeling of arriving back home after another adventure is complete.

Special friends with Charles Boo and Mallard, Ducky enjoys receiving letters from Mallard and sending tales of his own adventures in Seattle, WA. Ducky loves all sorts of water and the way it feels when it runs over and through his feathers. He especially likes the summer, when he can eat colored water frozen into popsicles and ice cream.
Peggy the Penguin
Peggy is still a baby penguin, but she is daily learning more about the world around her in Seattle, WA. Her special friend is Lizzie Bee and she loves to be squeezed in a very large penguin hug. She doesn't even mind when Bee chews on her head, because she knows what it is like to want to taste everything. Peggy loves to run after Ducky, but sometimes she gets ahead of her little feet and falls down. When this happens, she likes best to be outside, where the springy green grass will keep her from getting hurt.
Adventurer Katie
Adventurer Katie loves to travel with Marvin. She will try anything once and loves to take Mallard backpacking, rock climbing, or running all around the world. Mallard and Katie make new friends wherever they go and share their experiences with family through letters and pictures. Charles Boo and Lizzie Bee know her as Aunt Katie, but everyone else knows her for her stories.

Recently married to Adventurer Katie, Dan the Professor is ready for more adventures. He loves to teach and help people wherever he is living. The Professor loves to play baseball and he runs faster than a lightning bolt. Right now, he is curious which East Coast state has the best milkshakes. Charles Boo lives and plays in Seattle, WA and in special friends with Ducky. Charles Boo is constantly in motion, whether this is running and playing in his backyard, hiking through local parks, playing in the waves of the Puget Sound, or just helping mom and dad around the house. When the rain is falling, the sky is dark, and everyone is trapped inside, Boo uses his imagination to create adventures and an afternoon of fun.
Lizzie Bee
Having just turned one year old, Lizzie Bee is determined to follow Charles Boo in all his imagination and play. She loves to run and scream after Boo and a smile is always on her face. Her and Peggy the Penguin are still getting to know the world around them. Right now, they love tasting new foods, climbing up high, and figuring out new ways to play with everything around them. Bee and Penguin are very busy babies.
